Sentence Decomposition

The design:

• A sentence is entered into the database, often (but not always) in English^°hard word.
• It is translated by LLM^°hard word operation 1 into other languages: English^°hard word, Chinese^°hard word, French^°hard word, Spanish^°hard word, Liithuanian^°hard word, Ukrainian^°hard word, Kannada^°hard word, Bengali^°hard word. ⚙️ all PIE^°hard word, except^°hard word Chinese^°hard word. This is unintentional^°hard word but welcome^°hard word. It remains within^°hard word the areas of linguistics^°hard word where I am comfortable.
• We check the database for word matches. This is used to create a list of candidate^°hard word lemmas^°hard word. We avoid^°hard word the need to use LLMs^°hard word to do the word-meaning^°hard word resolution^°hard word problem this way. The "correct" meaning will be present in most/all languages 💡 not all sentence translations^°hard word will have the same lemmas^°hard word. For a sentence, the decomposition^°hard word identifies^°hard word:

• What specific^°hard word lemma^°hard word / sense-of-meaning^°hard word of a word is in use. Is it to lose a race or to lose one's^°hard word keys? A river-bank^°hard word or a financial^°hard word bank?
• What tense^°hard word is the word in? Present/past? Is it a conjugated^°hard word form? This should align^°hard word with the lemma's^°hard word information for the grammatical^°hard word form, but there is no requirement^°hard word for it to do so.

We do not yet^°hard word have a full "sentence diagram^°hard word" out of the words. The traditional^°hard word Reed-Kellogg^°hard word sentence diagram^°hard word is uninteresting^°hard word -- it only applies^°hard word to English^°hard word, is outdated^°hard word, and remains confusing^°hard word. However, the data missing to be able to generate this will be relevant^°hard word later on.
